What do you do in a Gardening Workshop?

Connect children with nature: Directly explore the natural world and understand plant growth and care.

Enhance wellbeing: Provide calm, adaptable, and creative spaces that positively influence children's emotional health.

Complement the curriculum: Offer practical learning that reinforces skills in maths (measuring, counting), literacy (writing instructions, diary keeping), science (biology, weather), planning, design, and sensory exploration.

Support SEND students: Provide an engaging and accessible learning environment. Students can help to create and manage break out spaces.

Increase food awareness: Teach children about the origins of their food.

Develop ecological and environmental understanding.

Our gardening workshops provide a holistic and engaging learning experience that benefits children's understanding of the natural world and their wellbeing. Activities will be tailored to suit differing ages and abilities, as well as complementing key curriculum areas.
